2018 Pow Wow Chairmen & Chiefs

“It was a grand celebration of our culture on our historic reservation established in 1683 and continuously occupied and controlled by the tribe since that time. We honored our relatives that have travelled on to the spirit world and those that have been born to us as we celebrated our life and cultural traditions with members, relatives, and friends.  Kutaputsh Manito Thank you Great Spirit.” -Chairwoman Katherine Sebastian Dring

2018 Annual Pow Wow

There have been some questions surrounding the date of the annual meeting/powwow this year. To clarify- Article XVII Section 1 of the Constitution states “The Tribal Council shall call an annual meeting of all members of the tribe. This meeting shall be held on the fourth Saturday of July.” The powwow is always held the following day. Saturday, July 28th, is the 4th Saturday of the month.

Voting for the annual election will be open from 10am-5pm on Saturday, July 28th. An I.D. will be required.
