I was born in Westerly, RI in 1952 to Raymond Loper Geer and Phyllis Anne (Prachniak) Geer. I have lived in North Stonington, CT for most of my life and have lived on the EPTN Reservation since 1983. I graduated from Wheeler High School in 1970, attended Thames Valley State Technical College in Norwich and earned a BS in Data Systems Management from Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI. Life Scout Troop 71 BSA, charter player in NS Little League (1964), Member of the “Boys of 71” Rifle Team, Rifle Instructor at Ted Williams Baseball Camp in 1966, Past Master of Franklin Lodge #20 F&AM in Westerly RI, former Tribal Chairman of the Paucatuck Eastern Pequots, former Treasurer of EPTN and given the title of Medicine Man.
I currently live on the Reservation with my wife Sue. I worked for 32 years as a computer programmer/IS Manager and own a small office furniture dealership in New London CT. My wife & I enjoy camping and I am currently the Director of District One New England for our Masonic Camping Club. I represented the Tribe at the Indigenous Games in both Winnipeg & Denver and won several metals in the Rifle Shoot Competitions including two Gold Metals at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
